A little about the Station, we will have control operators with General or Extra Class licenses, so Technicians may try out the radios on HF. The Tri Band Yagi will be on top of the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley. The Radio Room is the perfect opportunity to check out the latest Amateur Radio gear of your dreams, in action before you go spend your cash. See if the radios are what the manufacture said they are. We have some very nice rigs scheduled to be in the Shack. Like the Icom IC-7000, IC -7800 and the Yaesu FTDX-9000. You will also be able to use the many antennas and other station equipment. After you sit down and work some DX, with the well equipped station please, visit the main Exhibitor’s Hall. There you will find all the radio gear for sale. If you have a Technician Class, you have the opportunity to upgrade your licenses on Saturday. We will have VE’s there ready to give you the test. So come by the Radio Station and see what bands is open, chat with some other countries, work some DX or just work all the local repeaters on 50, 144 and 432 MHz. 73
